For years riders have known that the traditional waxed-
cotton riding jacket is hard to beat when it comes to
comfort and protection from the elements. Starting
with the outer fabric, Scorpion created its own waxed
cotton fabric and strengthened it by weaving in nylon for
abrasion resistance. Then they laminated a waterproof/
breathable membrane to the back of it and seam taped all
the seams, making this waxed cotton jacket waterproof.
