The FMF XC3 125 class won by Alex Teagarden on a Husqvar- na, with Yamaha mounted Cody Barnes and Husqvarna rider Dustin Simpson rounding out the top three. Perhaps the best race of the day was in the Women's XCW class, where Becca Sheets (Fly/ Maxxis/Seat Concepts KTM) led nearly the entire race until the last few turns where Tayla Jones (KR4 Husqvarna) made a pass for the win. The race was not without controversy as both Jones and Sheets collided about a quarter mile from the finish put- ting both riders on the ground. Jones slipped through on the inside of Sheets to take the lead Steward Baylor was in the hunt for the win until getting a face full of rock. and, according to Jones, Sheets tried to retaliate and came in a bit hot in the following turn, collid- ing with Jones. The fall caused Alex Teagarden won the FMF XC3 125 class by a healthy margin.
