"It looks like Jonathan Rea will be just fine on his

What a race! It looks like Jona-
than Rea will be just fine on his
neutered Kawi, maybe not as
dominant, though.

"Dornob" needs to make more
rule changes to slow the Kawa-
saki's down and rig the finish.
Remember, Dornob, fans don't
want to see honest racing.

Tampa Supercross
Not a bad race but everybody
got spread out toward the end
so it turned into a mediocre
race. I'm looking forward to
another Triple Crown race,
something different at least.
Coolest moment of the night
was Blake Baggett in the net
and his cycle remaining up-
right. Without the net we might
be down another rider.
Justin Hill looked strong on
the 450.
Ken Bateman
Justin Hill has figured out the
Suzuki bike as of late. He had
the fasted lap in the 450 main
(48.456 seconds) and to me
looked the smoothest. A small
mistake on his part set him
back, though. Watch out for Hill
the rest of the year, I would say.
Nice to see a yellow bike fight-
ing for podiums again.

Announcer Ken Roczen
I enjoyed Ken Roczen an-
nouncing the 450SX semi
races at the Tampa Supercross
with Ralph Sheheen and Jeff
Emig. He was not afraid to
speak up and talk about what
he thought about the other
riders and different lines taken
and why.
I liked his talk about sus-
pension setup and why some
riders—"American"—choose
different setups.
Hopefully Fox Sports will
invite him back while he heals
up.

If the AMA won't spec a playing
card in the spokes, hopefully
they will mandate a "Blendzall"
two-stroke smell emitted for our
enjoyment.

Archives: Jim Pomeroy
We got to see Jim Pomeroy
race in the Trans-AMA Series.
When he came out of the
corner we were sitting at, he
missed a gear every single lap
in both motos. Made me lose
any desire to own a Bultaco.
