IN THE WIND P50 ENDUROCROSS HOSTS RIDE DAY, ANNOUNCES 2018 SCHEDULE T he 2018 AMA EnduroCross series will again run from August to November with seven events planned. With a long off-season, the series organizers hosted a ride day to share the planned schedule and share some updates to the racing format. The event was held at the Moto Ventures riding school facility in Anza, California, and most of the top riders and series sponsors showed up for a fun day of play riding, EnduroCross style. The series schedule had to be adjusted to accommodate the ISDE dates and is currently planned to kick off August 25 in Prescott, Arizona, and wrap up in Boise, Idaho, November 3. The 2018 race format will change a little to make for an even more exciting show. The "No Joke" lane will now be used for all the night show heat races and the LCQ for the Super Enduro- Cross (pro) class. The top 26 riders will qualify for the night show and be split into two heat races, taking the top six riders each to the main event. There will be one LCQ taking the top-two into the main event. The series will also continue to have classes for Women, Open Amateur, Vet 35+ and TrialsCross. All of the races will be based on time rather than laps to ensure consistent total race time despite the length of the track. CN 2018 EnduroCross schedule: Round 1 ...Prescott, Arizona ..........
