FAITH REBOUNDS AT
SOUTH CAROLINA ARENACROSS

Kawasaki's Gavin Faith re-
covered from a difficult showing
in the last round of the Amsoil Ar-
enacross Series and dominated
the Florence, SC, round at the
Florence Center, February 17.
Chris Blose finished second
ahead of Jacob Hayes. Tra-
vis Sewell and Isaac Teasdale
rounded out the top five.
The track was the biggest of
the season with an extra rhythm
section and featured the excel-
lent dirt with a good sand and
clay mixture. The circuit featured
four racing lanes and the tacky
dirt made for exciting racing.
Faith had a near-perfect week-
end on his Kawasaki, qualifying
second, winning his heat and the
Rocky Mountain ATV-MC Head
2 Head Challenge, and going 1-1
in the mains. Faith was humbled
when he finished ninth overall
and was disqualified from the first
heat last weekend in Wisconsin.
The win closes him to within eight
points of his teammate Hayes in
the championship.
"Last weekend was pretty rough
so to be able to get to the top step
of the podium feels incredible,"
said Faith. "Last weekend hum-
bled me a little bit. You get used
to being on the podium."
