OX MOTORSPORT IS NO MORE
C
olton Udall and Mark Samu-
els, founders of Ox Motors-
ports, announced that they have
mutually agreed to dissolve their
business and go their separate
ways.
Udall announced the news on
his Instagram account.
"Co-Owners Colton Udall and
Mark Samuels of Ox Motors-
ports would like to announce
the mutual decision to divide
their partnership," the statement
read. "After four years of suc-
cessful racing with two SCORE
Baja Championships (2015,
2016), two Big 6 Grand Prix
Championships (2015, 2017)
and two 24-Hours Of Glen Helen
wins, the two owners will chase
their individual dreams. Ox
Motorsports would like to send a
special thank you to all its amaz-
ing sponsors and pit crew for
the support the past four years.
Racing has been a wonderful
experience with all those who
have been involved."
The statement went on to say
that Samuels will continue to
support racers with many of Ox's
current sponsors, his racing
effort to be mostly on the west
coast and "special international
showings."
"The past four years have
been an awesome and success-
ful time creating and building Ox
Motorsports with Colton," Samu-
els said. "I am excited for the
new chapter of my racing and
team owner/management roles.
I will continue in the off-road
world and hope to make more
of an impact on the rally side of
racing in the states. Best of luck
to Colton and his new endeav-
ors. It's been a fun ride."
Udall says he plans to "focus
on healing and new endeav-
ors." He added, "I am excited
to start a new chapter in my life;
my back injury has put quite
a damper on my racing and I
just don't have the versatility I
used to. I will work on my body
strength and continue building
race bikes, help others with their
racing abilities and win races in
a new way. I wish all the best for
Mark and his team, it's been a
fun [and] successful past four
years!" CN
Ox Motorsports, a strong
force in off-road racing the
past four years, especially in
Baja, has called it quits.
