"A real racer will race anything, regardless
of how it's powered."
Silence Of The Amps
If noise is the only thing we
lose, but keep the sliding,
tire spinning, wheelying, and
speed, I think I'll be okay with
it. I do like the sound of racing
engines, but that is only a tiny
part of why I love motor (not
engine) racing.
I would also like to have
clean water and air and reason-
able climates.
Peter H. Nielson
And now it comes into view,
over the horizon—yes; autono-
mous racing!
Seb Birdshaw
It's the 21st century. Petroleum
will die during this century.
Children will grow up only
knowing cars and bikes that
are electric or other than gas
powered.
And a real racer will race
anything, regardless of how it's
powered.
I expect an electric bike to
win a major race, like an en-
duro or a freestyle event, within
the next couple of years.
Danny H. Smith
Racing will die off as autono-
mous vehicles take over, simu-
lators will take the place of the
real thing.

Millsaps Says
He's Done
What a good dude! I will miss
his incredible presence on the
track—a hard decision and tran-
sition out of the spotlight.
We will miss you, too, Davi!
Lance Gorton
Hey, Davi, spoken like a true
sportsman. You're awesome
on and off the track; you will be
missed. Good luck!
Liz Nichols Hall
Unlike some others, he has the
integrity to admit when it's over.
I give him credit for that.
Kevin Burner
Thanks for everything, Davi.
Best wishes.

They [Harley-Davidson] have
taken their lumps, stayed in
and work hard to get competi-
tive. They have even set up a
huge contingency fund while
reengineering the XG engine
and chassis to get back to the
front, and [on] the podium.
Dominance only looks easy. It
isn't at all.
Don't forget, the three
riders and crew chiefs were
totally dominating the circuit for
the last three years on other
brands. They are mostly doing
what they had been doing for
years, just on a new, very good
motorcycle.
These are great times in
racing. I recommend we watch
and enjoy it.
