When the gate dropped for the main
event, the fastest daytime qualifier,
Tomac, was pinballed by Roczen,
causing Tomac to careen into his
teammate Josh Grant, both of whom
ended up stuck in the first turn while
the rest of the field continued on.
Tomac pulled out of the race due
a bent motorcycle all but ending his
chances of winning his first 450SX
title. He's now had two DNFs and
one DNS in the championship.
Seely grabbed the holeshot in the
main event, and he looked strong
out front for the first half of the race,
until a freight train of riders caught
and passed him. Anderson caught
