The new CE-certified Revo 5 Roost Deflector from
EVS Sports is the one that Geico Honda rider Chase
Sexton uses. The under-jersey roost deflector has a
molded cross-link bio-foam interior that provides
an impact barrier from flying debris. Its molded
polycarbonate construction offers additional
impact protection, and the three-part back plate
has key flex points that are designed to move
in unison with the rider's body. The ventilated
protector is compatible with neck braces, and it
has removable shoulder/upper arm protection.

Metzeler has added more X-ply sizes
to its sport touring RoadTec 01 tires,
and will have tires in March to fit
older motorcycles as well as the new,
smaller-capacity motorcycles. The
relatively stiffer structures of the X-ply,
coupled with chemical components
and tread adhesives, are used for a
high level of grip, both in dry and wet
conditions. These new tires expand
the RoadTec 01 range with sizes for
sport-tourers, tourers, cruisers,
nakeds, enduro-street and supersport
motorcycles from 150cc and up.
