Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Area
outside of town (instead of the
club's traditional venue at Johnson
Valley OHV Area near Lucerne
Valley).
"I'm really comfortable with the
terrain out here and my bike's
working well so I knew I was out
front and it was dusty so I just tried
to get away," Burson said. "I tried
to break away so no one could key
off me at all."
Robert noted, "When I came
into the pits [after] the first loop,
I didn't know what place I was in;
we kind of had a scrambled pit so I
didn't even know Nick was way out
ahead of us. I passed Jake [Argu-
