But he made it through Anaheim II
and hopes to be doing even better
by next weekend in Arizona. "My
starts were not good all night, but
in the last one, I just hit this rhythm,
and turned, and cut down, and Bar-
cia T-boned me and broke my foot-
peg right off, so I couldn't continue,"
Wilson said after going 14-14-22. "I'm
just happy that nothing's torn—my
shoulder's okay. I just landed on it
really, really hard, and I just need
time for it to heal up. Another week
is going to do me so much good.
The class is just too stacked to go
out there at less than 100 percent. I
tried, and that's all I can hope for. It
was just a rough day all around. But I
did what I could."
AC'S BIG CRASH
In the final qualifying session of the
day, Adam Cianciarulo had a huge
endo and appeared to have hit his
head. He passed concussion proto-
col, though, and ended up finishing
fourth at Anaheim II. "On the way
down [during the crash], I thought
that was it, for sure," Cianciarulo
said. "Those crashes are so scary...I
don't really want to disclose how
many Gs I took, but I had my LITPro
on, and it was a substantial amount
of Gs. I was dazed. It did not feel
good. But I didn't knock myself out

Ken Roczen showed that he's not superstitious
by wearing the same color gear that he wore
one year ago when he demolished his arm at
A2. He rode conservatively this year.
