BETA ANNOUNCES OFF-ROAD TEAM
B
eta USA announced its of-
ficial off-road race team for
2018. A few riders are return-
ing to the team, including AMA
West Hare Scramble Cham-
pion Max Gerston and Jordan
Ashburn, who finished second
overall in the Kenda Full Gas
Sprint Enduro Series. Other re-
turning riders include Morgan
Tanke and Joe Wasson.
Gerston will defend his num-
ber-one plate in the West Hare
Scramble Championship, and
will also compete in the AMA
EnduroCross Championship
and extreme enduro events.
Ashburn will continue to pur-
sue the GNCC (XC1) Champion-
ship, as well as Kenda Full Gas
Sprint Enduro Championship.
Tanke will again focus her
attention on the AMA Hare
& Hound and EnduroCross
Championships. Wasson will
continue on in the AMA Hare &
Hound Championship.
New to the team are Mason
Ottersberg, Mike Witkowski
and Chance Fullerton.
Ottersberg will concentrate
on the D-37 Big 6 WCGP
(West Coast Grand Prix) and
EnduroCross Championships;
Witkowski the GNCC (XC2)
and National Enduro Cham-
pionships while Fullerton will
take on the National Hare &
Hound and WORCS Champi-

WELCOME 3 BROS. STI HUSQVARNA TEAM
T
hree Brothers Husqvarna and STI announce the creation of 3 Bros. STI Husqvarna, a United States
West Coast off-road racing team. The team is set to compete in the 2018 AMA District 37, Big 6
series as well as the WORCS series. Race team members will include Jacob Alvarez and the reigning
AMA District 37 Pro-class Champion Zach Bell. Bell defend his
title as the Big 6 WCGP Pro class champion, while also com-
peting in his first full year of the World Off-Road Championship
Series (WORCS) series aboard a Husqvarna FX 450.
Alvarez, piloting a Husqvarna FC 250, will pursue both the
AMA Big 6 series in the WCGP Pro II class and WORCS series in
the Pro 2 Lites class. The team will also compete in select events
on the west coast, such as National Hare & Hound Association
(NHHA) and newly formed Sprint Hero series promoted by the
WORCS organization. CN
