IN THE WIND P36 AMERICANS RULE GERMAN SUPERENDURO F MF KTM Factory Racing's Cody Webb proved to be the rider to beat at the second stop of the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship in Germany, Janu- ary 6, claiming the overall win and the points lead. Making it a USA 1-2 on the night and a clean sweep of race wins, Rockstar En- ergy Husqvarna Factory Racing's Colton Haaker ended his night as the runner-up. After claiming the overall win at round one in Poland, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Taddy Bla- zusiak completed the top three on the night despite being hit with a penalty in race two. "It's great to end the night with both the overall win and the points lead," said Webb. "I almost had it in Poland so to get it done here in Germany is brilliant." With the small German arena filled to its 7000-person capacity, the Prestige class rolled out for the Akrapovic SuperPole hot lap. On a tight and technical course, any mistakes would prove costly. Last to tackle the lap, Webb toppled Rockstar Energy Husqvarna's Billy Bolt off the hot seat. Despite Webb having first gate pick for race one, it was Haaker who shot out to an early lead with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Jonny Walker hot on his tail. Webb had a little bit of work to do but quickly made the duo a trio. Capitalizing on a mistake by Haaker, he seized the lead and checked out to claim the first win of the night. With the start ordered reversed for race two, Webb found himself boxed off the start when GasGas rider Danny McCanney hit the ground. Digging deep, he cut his way through the pack to recover to third. In race three, Webb got the lead early on and stayed mistake-free for the final win of the night and with it the top step of the podium. "I feel like I still have a bit more work to do with regards race two," admitted Webb. "The reversed start can be a bit of a lottery and it's bitten me twice now." For Haaker, Germany was a much-improved performance
