couch waiting for a ride. He had hit
rock bottom. Then he got the call to
fill in for injured Yoshimura Suzuki
rider Jake Lewis in the reenvisioned
U.S. superbike championship—
MotoAmerica. It was all up from
there as the Spaniard not only
found a home with a new team;
he also found a home in the U.S.
