IN THE WIND P30 KAWASAKI SHOWS OFF U.S. MODELS T he final bikes to come out for the 2018 model year were those of Kawasaki, who chose the New York Progressive International Motorcycle Show to reveal their new babies to the U.S. On display were four new bikes—the Ninja 400, H2 SX and SE, ZX-10R SE and the Z900RS—the last of which we will be testing in a week's time at the American launch in California. >>NINJA 400 Kawasaki's smallest sport bike has been given a ground-up redesign for the 2018 model year and now sports one of the largest capacities in the class. The chassis has also come in for a rework, with Kawasaki tell- ing Cycle News the new 400 weighs less than the old 250R model did when it was discon- tinued back in 2012. The New Ninja 400 will sell for a base MSRP of $4999, up to $5499 for the KRT and ABS SE versions.
