Sympatex membrane is waterproof and
breathable, while a gusseted tongue
provides extra protection from the
weather. They are reinforced at the
heels and toes, and Poron XRD is used
for flexible impact protection.

Leatt's X-Frame Knee Brace is CE certified
as both a medical device and as impact
protection. It's made of injected-carbon
composite and has asymmetrical hinges. The
inner hinge is slimmer for better feel on the
bike, while the sturdy outer hinge can handle
hits and also has metal gears for precise
movement. The strapping system was designed
to be easy to use and the hinge padding comes
in interchangeable sizes. A low-profile shin-
bone pad means the brace can fit inside boots.
