BLOSS BANGED UP

enny Bloss, of the Rocky Mountain ATV-
MC/KTM/ WPS Supercross/Motocross
Team, suffered injuries while practicing for the
upcoming Monster Energy AMA Supercross
Series that will keep him off the bike for a
while.
Bloss sustained a bruised lung and a par-
tially collapsed lung in the fall, but the team is
confident he'll make a quick and full recovery
before round one of the 2018 SX series.
Bloss is stepping up to the 450 class full
time next year. CN

ANOTHER DAY IN THE DIRT

len Helen Raceway was overflowing with
racers and spectators over the Thanksgiving
holiday, November 24-26. They were there for the
annual Red Bull Day in the Dirt Motocross Grand
Prix, featuring multiple races/classes designed to
be more about fun than winning—but that's not re-
ally the case when the gate actually drops. It gets
pretty serious (but still fun).
The Hollywood Stunt and Film-hosted event
has a class for everyone, including the popular
FMF 2-Stroke Revival Race, Stunt GP Team Race,
Bossa Nova GP (a three-man team race), Pro/Am
GP, Moto-A-GoGo Two-Man Team Race, and the
premier event, the Coup De Grace GP Survival
Race. And then there is The Ironman. To get the
Ironman Trophy you must compete in and finish
five designated events: This year's recipient was
Riverside, California's Derek Kelley.
One of those races he competed in—and won—
was the Coup de Grace. And he also teamed up
with Tyler Rosa to win Moto-A-GoGo, beating out
the second-place team of RJ Wageman and Justin
Hoeft.
Hoeft had an impressive weekend, as well. He
teamed with Deegan Von Lossberg in Stuntman
GP and edged out the Kelley/Rosa team for the
win, as he did with Blaine Thompson and Von
Lossberg in the Bosa Nova, beating out Kelley,
Dylan Bolinger and Colin Shiner.
Wageman came away with a win in the Pro-Am
GP, topping Kelley and Rookie White. CN
