LONG BEACH IMS
SHOWCASES
NEW METAL
A
mericans got their first look at the new
2018 motorcycle metal at the 2017 Long
Beach Progressive International Motorcycle
Show, November 17-19, including the first
U.S. public showing of the new Ducati Pani-
gale V4 and Panigale V4 Speciale.
Almost every major manufacturer was
represented at the IMS, although Kawasaki,
Yamaha and Suzuki did not have new bikes
to show off to the public that were seen in
Europe at the EICMA Show in Milan.
Kawasaki will instead showcase the new
Z900RS Café and H2 SX sport touring ma-
chine at the New York IMS.
Also on display were new machines from
Royal Enfield, like the $4499 Himalaya ad-
venture bike, Honda's all-new Gold Wing and
CB1000R, Harley-Davidson, Indian and KTM,
as well as custom bikes from across the U.S.
The next stop for the Progressive Interna-
tional Motorcycle Show will be at the Javits
Center in New York on December 1-3. More
information can be found by clicking here. CN
