There were a number of crash-
es as well as the factory Ducatis,
with independent Ducati rider
Alvaro Bautista falling twice. KTM
wild card Mika Kallio was the first.
Both Aprilia riders Aleix Espargaro
and Alex Lowes crashed out, as
did Scott Redding and eventually
also Pol Espargaro (KTM), who
had started from pit lane.
Marquez ended up with 298
points, Dovizioso 261. Vinales on
230 was third; winner Pedrosa
(210) regained fourth from Rossi
(208).
