Kawasaki Z900RS Cafe
The heart of the RS Café is the
same 948cc inline-four that's
employed in the Z900, although
its power output is said to drop
to 110 horsepower (the Z900
produces 125 horsepower). A
two-level traction control system
is used on the RS Café, as well
as 41mm fully adjustable front
forks and a rear shock with pre-
load and rebound adjustability,
to make the ride as smooth as
possible. Bringing this café racer
to a halt is a pair of four-piston
brake calipers that are clamped
to 300mm discs and paired with
a radial master cylinder.
Kawasaki dressed the
Z900RS Café to look the part
of the Team Green glory days.
A half fairing and solo tail piece
have been fitted, and both
have been painted in a
scheme that makes the RS
Café look very similar to Kawa-
saki's vintage superbikes.

2018 Kawasaki
ZX-10R SE
The highlight of the Special Edition
model is the all-new Kawasaki Elec-
tronic Control Suspension (KECS). The
KECS system plays host to three dif-
ferent riding modes (Road, Track, and
Manual) that can be selected via the
dashboard. Manual mode allows the
rider to tune the suspension settings to
their liking, with a 15-level adjustability
of compression and rebound circuits.
The semi-active suspension system
uses what is called "Showa Solenoid
technology" inside the fork, which is
claimed to have a reaction time of one
thousandth of a second.
