T
he 2017 Kenda AMA National Enduro Championship wasn't de-
cided until the final test of the final round of the series in Stanton,
Alabama, where Steward Baylor and Thad Duvall came into the
Perry Mountain M.C.'s Gobbler Getter Enduro locked in a battle for the
championship lead.
Just two points separated leader Baylor from Duvall, making it essen-
tially a winner-take-all final showdown for the championship. When all
was said and done, just 12 seconds separated the new series champ,
Baylor, from Duvall. Baylor got off to a blazingly fast start to the day, but
Duvall came charging back. Unfortunately for Duvall, it wasn't enough
to catch Baylor, who is now a two-time AMA National Enduro Cham-
pion. (Baylor won his first title in 2012).
Steward Baylor
Jr. narrowly
wrapped up his
second AMA
National Enduro
Championship
at the Gobbler
Getter Enduro in
