Jorge Lorenzo (Duc) 3. Johann Zarco (Yam) 4. Marc Marquez (Hon) 5. Dani Pedrosa (Hon) narrowly regained second over the line; Loi was third, now six seconds back. McPhee was fifth after a strong recovery round, with Mugello winner Andrea Migno (SKY VR46 KTM) sixth, from 19th on the grid, ahead of yet more Hondas–Romano Fenati, Aron Canet and Fabio di Gi- annantonio. Bo Bendsneyder (Red Bull KTM) was 10th, then Norrodin, who had fallen and remounted, losing hardly any time. Fifth to 12th was covered by just over 1.5 seconds. Sasaki (Honda), the KTMs of teammates Gue- Joan Mir won pole for the first time this season and went on to win Moto3.
