or the second year in a row, Red Bull
KTM's Marvin Musquin—in the Open
class—and TLD/Red Bull KTM's
Shane McElrath—in the 250cc Lites
class—emerged victorious at the Red Bull
Straight Rhythm, which played out in front
of a large gathering of spectators at the
Fairplex in Pomona.
New for 2017 was the popular Two-
Stroke class, which saw some legendary
entries, including Chad Reed and Ryan
Villopoto, but the man who still races two-
strokes regularly, Gared Steinke, stood on
the top step of the podium when all was
said and done.
