"That was crazy," Reynolds
said. "I'm lucky I didn't go down,
and I was just pinning it over all
these boulders and stuff. It was
slippery. But I got back on the
track right behind those guys
again."
In the second moto, he again
had an early fall while he was
working his way forward, but he
moved into second on the final
lap and went after race-leader
Jace Kessler, coming up 0.02
of a second short of Kessler as
they took the checkered flag.
he jumped off the track on the
track's fastest rhythm section,
barely managing to miss the wall
along the side of the track, but
he just kept it pinned through
the trackside rocks and hoses,
rejoined the race in about fourth
place, and then passed his way
class at the Monster Energy
Cup, and he tried to lose it a few
different times over the course
of the night. Ever persistent,
though, he managed to pull it off
despite himself.
In the first moto, Reynolds
was leading comfortably when
