Pol Espargaro (Red Bull KTM) was a distant 11th, while Yamaha factory wild card Katsu Nakasuga got back ahead of Sam Lowes (Aprilia) on the last lap for 12th. Also on the last lap, Hector Bar- bera (Avintia Ducati) and Tito Rabat (VDS Honda) got ahead of Scott Redding's Octo Ducati for the final points. As well as Rossi, Cal Crutchlow, Karel Abraham, Alvaro Bautista and Folger replacement Kohta Nozani crashed out; Pedrosa retired to the pits. Marquez now has 244 points, Dovi 233. Vinales is dropping out of conten- tion at 203, then non-scorers Pedrosa (170) and Rossi (168). Another wet race, another disaster for the Movistar Yamahas with major rear grip issues. Dovi (04) beats Marquez to the line in a carbon copy of the Austrian MotoGP.
