IN THE WIND P48 OLDENBURG TO YAMALUBE/STAR RACING M itchell Oldenburg has found a new home at Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha for the 2018- 2019 motocross/supercross seasons. Oldenburg moves over from the Troy Lee De- signs Red Bull KTM Team and will stay in the 250 class for at least another two years. It appears now that the entire team will be made up of Aaron Plessinger, Colt Nichols, Justin Cooper, Dylan Ferrandis and now Oldenburg. Mitchell Harrison was cut from the Star team. Injuries have kept Oldenburg out of the spot- light for most of the year, but when he was healthy, the Minnesota native was a consistent threat to podium. CN MILLSAPS INJURED D avi Millsaps, who just signed with the factory Yamaha team for 2018, suffered injuries while testing at the Yamaha test track in Corona, Cali- fornia, October 6. Millsaps was scheduled to race the Monster Energy Cup but that was scratched. Millsaps, who was previously a member of the Rocky Mountain ATV-MC/ WPS/ KTM team, suffered a broken elbow and a concussion. The elbow injury will require surgery, which has report- edly been postponed due to the concussion. Millsaps updated his condition via his Instagram account late last week: "Last Friday at the test track I took a hard fall. I was knocked out and suffered a severe concussion and broken elbow. I was rushed to the hospital and was released Mon- day [October 9]. To be honest, don't remember much. My brain took a really hard hit. I'm following up with special- ists now to move forward with my recovery. Thanks to everyone's well wishes and prayers. I appreciate the concern. When things like this hap- pen there's so much speculation. I've had my share of injuries but when it comes to your brain, it adds a whole new level of perspective. I'm thankful for my family, friends and teams support as I get through this since we have all been on a great track this off season." CN Mitchell Oldenburg moves over to the Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha for 2018-2019. Davi Millsaps missed the Monster Energy Cup due to injuries suffered during testing at the Yamaha test track in Corona, California.
