2017 Saddlemen Rookie of the Year, Ryan Wells (BriggsAuto.com/
Evel Knievel Museum/Kawasaki Ninja 650) finished ninth, just ahead
of Bauman. Defending Grand National Champion, Bryan Smith (Indian
Motorcycle/Allstate Insurance/Indian Scout FTR750) finished out the
year with an 11th-place finish.
AFT Singles
The 15-lap AFT Singles main event got off to a rocky start. Class points
leader Kolby Carlile (Estenson Racing/Autolite/Yamaha) got the holeshot
and led into turn one with his only challenger in the points race Shayna
Texter (Richie Morris Racing/McElroy Packaging/Honda) right behind.
