ENDUROCROSS AMA ENDUROCROSS SERIES ROUND 3 / SEPTEMBER 30, 2017 WESTERN EVENTS CENTER / DENVER, COLORADO P78 In the Women's class, Kacy Mar- tinez took her very trick Factory FMF KTM 150 to the top step of the podium after an intense battle with JCR Honda's Tarah Gieger and de- fending champion Shelby Turner. Beta's Morgan Tanke got into the mix, as well, during the main event with the final podium shacking out with Gieger in second and Turner finishing in third. The entire field was mixed at multiple points in the race making it absolutely exciting. In the Vet class, Destry Abbott, con- tinued his winning ways with his third victory in a row. He was joined, again for the third time, by David Stirm who took second in Denver. Derek Ray- croft, a Colorado local, was awarded third in his home-state race. Kevin Dupius took the Open Amateur class win on his Husqvarna for the second race in a row. Josh Greco came in second and James Flynn grabbed third. In the Amateur B Main, Alec Peron- nard, son of EnduroCross founder and race promoting legend Eric Per- onnard, took his first career win in front of Tanner Killmer. Cole Wilton brought home third.
