enver EnduroCross fans have witnessed
genuine milestones in California native
Cody Webb's racing career, including his
first EnduroCross Pro main event qualification,
and a short time later, taking his first pro main
event win right in the dirt in front of them. The
Factory FMF KTM pilot carried his tradition of
strong performances on the mile-high stage with
a well-strategized performance at round three of
the 2017 series. Webb rode clean, stayed away
from moves that could put him on the ground and
utilized an early lead for effective "No Joke Lane"
timing to cement his win.
The back-to-back win sees the 2015 cham-
pion with a five-point cushion over his main rival,
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna's Colton Haaker, as
they head to Everett, Washington's Xfinity Arena
for round four in two weeks.
And a two-week break is exactly what Haaker
needs.
Coming into the Denver race weekend, the
defending champion was seriously considering
skipping the race. An infected bursa sack in his
elbow from a previous injury/wound raged in
arm-swelling, bacteria-breeding revolt all week
and Haaker was (understandably) non-committal
