France has managed to take on all comers
and win the Motocross of Nations.
But that's only one small part of the story.
Team France
In hindsight, it's almost hard to imagine that
until 2001, France had never won the Mo-
tocross of Nations. Not a single time. And
in 2001, a lot of people felt that the win—by
way of Luigi Seguy, Yves Demaria and David
Vuillemin—was a bit of a fluke, since the de-
fending champs from the USA sat the race
out following the 9/11 attacks.
