month represented more a nod
to the past than any outright at-
tempt at superior velocity.
Piloted by Burt Munro's great
nephew, Lee, Indian Motorcycle came to Bonn-
eville 2017 with a machine dubbed the Spirit of
Munro. They were not there to break any records
per se, but to honor the achievements of Burt 50
years on with a 2017 Scout entered in the Modi-
fied Partial Streamliner 1350cc (MPS-G) catego-
