Beta-mounted Drew Higgins was 14th overall, while AirGroup Racing/Enduro Engineering Husqvarna's Tyler Vore was 15th overall but third in the Expert AA class. Tayla Jones clinched the Women's Elite Championship on her KR4 Arrive-n-Ride Husqvar- na with a dominating win in Mis- souri. Jones was undefeated on the year with six wins. Second place went to Taylor Bonecutter on her Bonecutter Beta, while Yamaha-mounted Jennifer Shep- pard was third. "I'm pretty stoked to wrap up the title," said Jones. "Last week KTM Racing's Ben Kelley, who is not a regular in the champion- ship. Kelley was a little rusty off the start, finishing 13th in test one, but he quickly caught on and got progressively stronger as the day wore on. Eighth went to Solid Perfor- mance KTM's Jesse Groemm who topped AirGroup Racing/ Enduro Engineering Husqvarna's Thorn Devlin by just two seconds for the position. But Devlin won the Rekluse Expert/AA division, wrapping up the series title in the process. Devlin is undefeat- ed for the year in the Expert AA class, with seven straight wins. "It feels good to wrap up the title," said Devlin. "It was so dry out there and I knew if I went in tight I would be sliding all over the place so I tried to ride loose and it paid off." Rounding out the top 10 was FMF KTM Factory Racing Team's Russell Bobbitt who is currently fourth in the champion- ship. "I got off to a pretty rocky start," said the five-time enduro champ. "I went down not far into the first test—I tucked the front end on a rocky downhill and twisted my front end, so that kind of set the tone for the day. I just didn't find my groove all day and I was having a hard time fighting the dust, but we rode the best we could and tried to be super consistent. We'll go back to the drawing board now and start getting ready for [the next round in] Tulsa." Husqvarna rider Andrew Evan Smith took a career-high fourth overall.
