f you want to play a game of tactics, two
things are important. First, try not to pick
Andrea Dovizioso as your rival. Second,
make sure your engine doesn't blow up.
It remains arguable whether Marc Marquez
would have been able to stop Ducati's old/
new superstar from taking a second succes-
sive win, and to have protected his newly
acquired championship lead, although the
Repsol Honda had set a new lap record at
the midpoint. Especially given Dovizioso's
post-race pronouncement, that "I wasn't the
fastest."
But he never got that far. In a rare display of
mechanical susceptibility Marquez's RC213V
couldn't stand the pace. It blew up in a plume
