who clinched his first-ever 250cc National Championship last weekend
at Budds Creek, hadn't won both motos in a single day since the series
opener at Hangtown—which, one could argue, is also a race with very little
pressure—but he managed to repeat that performance at the Indiana finale.

Leading by 28 points over Blake Baggett, and 30 over Marvin Musquin,
Tomac just had to finish right behind them (or just beat them, for even
easier math) to take home the title with one moto left to run. And in the
first moto, Tomac seemed ready to make it happen, grabbing his first
