The Signet-X helmet is purpose built for the
street and has Arai's long-oval interior-fit shape,
which is longer front to back and more narrow
side-to-side, as compared to Arai's Intermediate
Oval. The new shield mechanism was developed
to enhance the shape of the shell, and the
ventilation ducts have been updated to have
more adjustability and better airflow. It also has
a new, more aerodynamic water-repellent ES
chin cover, and the helmet comes with a pinlock-
ready VAS-Max Vision faceshield.

Installing a Pingel Electric Shifter kit allows
the user to have wide-open or partial-throttle
clutchless shifting, so the clutch is only used
when starting or stopping. This allows riders
to keep their feet on the pegs and
make shifting as easy as the push
of a button. Bolt-on kits
