here at Budds Creek in front of
a lot of friends and family. It's
just an amazing feeling. I just
have to give it up to the good
Lord; without him, none of this
would be possible. I'm the most
blessed kid on earth. I have an
amazing support team around
me—my wife and kid, everybody
in my program who's there with
me on a daily basis. I owe a lot
of this to Aldon [Baker], Ryan
[Dungey], Jason [Anderson] and
Marvin [Musquin] for letting me
in on their program and making
ping up the title, and then to get
eighth in the first moto, it kind
of put my back against the wall.
I kind of thrive in that situation,
so I'm happy to have made it
work. I just went back, reached
out to the Lord, and just asked
for strength, and a start, and he
gave it to me. I'm just one grate-
ful kid right now."
Osborne had a lot of thanks
to give after rounding out a fairly
rare two-championship year.
"It means a lot," Osborne
said. "It's awesome to win it
But in moto two, Osborne let
it fly, chased down Martin, then
McElrath, and then took off to
an easy victory. It was his first
moto victory in six motos, dating
back to Millville. And it clinched
him his first-ever AMA National
Championship.
"It was tough," Osborne said.
"I was pretty distraught after
that first moto. Coming in with
enough to cover it on a day like
today, on a track where I feel
comfortable, and where I feel
really comfortable with wrap-
