Jeffrey Carver was able to wrestle seventh place
away from Davis Fisher as they finished just in front
of Bronson Bauman who was the last rider on the
lead lap.
Ever mindful of what happened at Sturgis, when
he was winning the TT, Wiles didn't want to over-ride
the track. "Since last week happened, I was be-
ing careful the whole time," said Wiles. "Last week,
I didn't know how that bike was going to work on
that track either. I thought that maybe it was actually
going to be harder, but I hadn't raced a GNC since

Smith was able to bring his Indian home fourth,

mate Brad Baker just held off the late race charge
of Jarod Vanderkooi (Richie Morris Racing/McEl-
roy Packaging Kawasaki) for fifth place.
