Saturday in a two-race format
that allowed the top 30 riders to
move forward to compete in the
four-round Sunday competition
that included 29 pre-qualified
pro riders from around the
world. Jarrett Mohn topped the
Amateur competition to earn the
AMA Amateur Extreme Enduro
Grand National Championship
and move forward to Sunday.
The Sunday morning pro-
gram started with a Hot Lap on
a mile long "short course" and
Webb started the day off with a
Jarvis on his own familiar turf.
And Webb delivered the
goods once again despite a
serious challenge by Jarvis.
They were joined on the podium
by Spain's Mario Roman who
finished second to Jarvis at Red
Bull Romaniacs just a few weeks
ago. The factory Sherco rider
proved to be a quick learner and
also challenged Webb through-
out the four-round format.
The multi-round Tennessee
Knockout started with 250
amateur entries competing on
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna's
Jarvis is the undisputed king of
extreme enduro these days with
multiple wins in almost all the
toughest races in the world, in-
cluding Erzberg, Romaniacs and
the Roof of Africa. Webb is top
American extreme enduro racer
and came into the TKO with a
four-race win streak. He has
stood on the podium with Jarvis
at Erzberg the past two years
but has been unable to beat him
in any of the major events. This
