AFT Singles
Full-time road-racer, part time dirt-
tracker, Hayden Gillim occasionally
returns to his dirt-track roots, most
notably at TT races. At the Spring-
field TT in May, Gillim dominated on
his Cycle World/Yoshimura-backed
Suzuki and was looking to have
similar results in South Dakota.
Gillim had no problems notching
his third career AFT Singles main
event win. Gillim edged the field
into the tight right off the start and
was never headed. Cole Frederick-
son (Ride Motorsports/Elite MX/
Honda) was a close second for a
while, but eventually dropped to
over four seconds behind.
On lap 10, Dan Bromley (Big
Hayden Gillim has raced
in only two AFT Singles
races this year—he's won
both of them.
