Amateur National Cham-
pionships concluded at Loretta
Lynn's Ranch in Hurricane Mills,
Tennessee, and 35 new cham-
pions were crowned over the
course of five days of racing,
each class using a three-moto
format. A total of nearly 1500
finalists were on the starting
gates at Loretta Lynn's, having
emerged from a total of more
than 20,000 entries at the Area
and Regional qualifying levels.
Among the top individual
standouts were double-class
winner Ty Masterpool, who was
named the Youth Rider of the
Year by the AMA; Garrett March-
