ed up losing third to AutoTrader/
JGR Suzuki's Justin Barcia, but
he ended up getting Barcia back
with a few laps left to finish third
in the moto.
"I'm happy to get that moto
over with," Wilson said after the
first moto. "I don't know, I got
a good start for once, which
passed him for the spot—three
times—about halfway through
the race. Tomac kept having to
re-pass Wilson because every
time he passed the Husqvarna
rider, he'd make a pretty major
mistake, and Wilson would go
right back by.
Later in the moto, Wilson end-
Wilson started right behind
Musquin in the first moto, but
almost lost the front end in the
second turn and temporarily
gave up second to Broc Tickle's
fill-in rider at RCH Suzuki Matt
Bisceglia. But Wilson was
quickly back up to second, and
he stayed there until Tomac
Crashes got the best
of Eli Tomac, but
he still got on the
podium and padded
his points lead.
