"Glad to see you retire in almost one piece, it was
a pleasure to watch you race."
Trey Canard
Retires
I think Trey should be
the first recipient of the
yet-to-be "Doug Henry
Superhuman Badass
Award" for all of the
times he came back
after suffering career-
ending injuries! Those
two guys are the defini-
tion of tough.
Glad to see you
retire in almost one
piece, it was a pleasure
to watch you race.
Howard Halterman
Understand the deci-
sion but very sad to
see him go! We will
miss you, Trey!
Best of luck to what-
ever comes next.
Michael Ruhlin
I hate to see him go,
but I, as many of you
do, think it's the best
for him. You were great
to watch while you
were racing, Trey. Best
of luck wherever life
takes you.
Bruce Oberg
Trey is one of the
nicest guys ever and
one of the fastest ever.
Each time he came
back, he was up to
speed right away. This
sport will miss Trey
Canard.
Al Banta
On his good days, no
one was faster. On
his bad days, no one
crashed harder. This is
a wise decision.
Kevin Burner
Ducati
Double Duck
Brilliant story! And a
good follow up on the
Pikes Peak coverage.
Luc Verbeke
Not to take anything
away from his accom-
plishment, but MotoGP
bikes go that fast on
the racetrack. I think
it has something to
do with the salt. His
Double Duck is prob-
ably capable of going
much faster.
Stephen H. Clemence
Mr. Baker is not the
only other famous
racer from Bellingham,
Washington. Danny
Stanley, AMA Grand
National #10 for many
years [is] also a Bell-
ingham resident.
Nonetheless, atta
boy, Mr. Bjorklund!

Randy Hawkins
Interview
Great work by Randy
and this team to upset
the "order"—aka KTM
factory and supported
racers (some bikes are
called "Husqvarna,"
by the way), but can
I just get an amen for
this very simple fact
of life: seven AMA
National Enduro titles.
One more time: seven
AMA National Enduro
titles. That is some
rare earth, my friends.
Live a good life, Mr.
Hawkins, you've
earned it.
