Flarity overcame a restart at the midpoint of the eight-lap main event to win the first-ever Hooligan gold. All the riders in the main were Harley-Davidson mounted. Dave Kilkenny just held off Jordan Baber for second. Louie Lauter, Rich Heverly, Mikey Hill, Jason Klements, Chris Wiggins Games; it's an honor to get gold at X Games, " said Mees. "I'm happy to be here no matter what the racetrack is. At the end of the day, it is the same for everybody. This event is awesome and I hope they keep bringing it back." Earlier in the day the first-ever X Games Hooligan race was also contested live on ESPN. Eslick (Harley-Davidson), Mikey Rush (Yamaha), Mick Kirkness (Harley-Davidson), Davis Fisher (Kawasaki) and JR Addison (ka- wasaki) rounded out the field. At the end of the day Jared Mees echoed the feelings of most of the participants: "It's an honor to be invited to X Games.
