Moto X Best Whip and the
Monster Energy Moto X Best
Trick Final also took place on
Saturday in Minneapolis, with
fans getting a chance to weigh
in on the voting in the Best Whip
event. A convincing 43 per-
cent of the vote went to Destin
Cantrell, who the Minnesota
crowd decided did the best job
of laying it flat.
In the Best Trick competition,
it was once again Levi Sherwood
and his double-backflip varia-
tion that brought home the gold.
Sherwood spun it upside down
twice with a knack, one-handed
combo of the 45-foot jump for
the win, his second gold medal
of X Games Minneapolis.
The final event of the weekend
was the all-new Quarterpipe
High Air competition. Riders
once again sent it skyward to
see who could hit the high-
est mark, and it ultimately
came down to a showdown
between Tyler Bereman and
Colby Raha. Bereman seared
the sky at 28 feet, 5 inches,
but Raha, an X Games
rookie, complete with Metal
Mulisha shoulder spikes, flew
past his mark, hitting 29 feet,
7 inches for the gold. CN

the bar at 44 feet,
successfully defending
his gold in the category.
