On the last lap Carver made
his move to get around on the
outside, but Baker slipped high
and Carver ran out of room
and he had to settle for a hard
earned fourth-place finish.
The Robinson, Bauman battle
raged on to the very end with
about the same results as Baker
and Carver. Robinson held the
spot the whole race, but Bau-
man made a last-lap pass only to
drift off the track, handing fifth
place back to Robinson.
