Sam Lowes (Aprilia) crashed
out; Hector Barbera was dis-

Lorenzo was a lone 11th. He'd
come under fierce attack from
Andrea Iannone's Ecstar Suzuki
before the latter fell with six laps
to go.
Petrucci was another six sec-
onds away, having regained 12th
from Pol Espargaro's Red Bull
KTM on the final lap. Second
KTM rider Bradley Smith took
14th from Jack Miller (EG-VDS
Honda) on the final lap, with
Dovi's factory bike into sixth,
which he held to the end.
The Italian was also now in tire
trouble and losing pace. By the
end, Aleix Espargaro also got
ahead for seventh.
Zarco qualified a lowly 19th,
and spent the race steadily gain-
ing place after place, to finish
ninth. His last victim, on the final
lap, was a fading Crutchlow,
whose front tire got so hot so
quickly that a pressure warning
