in front of Grant, who grabbed a
top-five in the moto despite the
fact that he was not supposed to
be racing. Behind Grant came
Barcia, Bogle, Wilson, Seely
and then Baggett, who passed
both Craig (for 11th) and Canard
(for 10th) on the final lap of the
race, salvaging two valuable
championship points.
Tomac now leads the title
chase headed to the sands of
Southwick, Massachusetts,
where he won last year. Baggett
now trails by 13 points, and
Anderson sits a further 12 points
back, 15 points in front of former
points leader Musquin.
Musquin quietly settled into
third, which netted him third
overall on the day.
"I wish I had better starts to-
day because the speed was re-
ally good," Musquin said. "Third
overall is a really good result for
me right now. I'm almost back
where I belong. Hopefully we'll
keep going like that and battle
with the top four. Right now
Tomac, Anderson, Baggett and
me are the top four, so I want to
be up there. Got third today. It's
good."
Peick continued his strong
performances of late and
grabbed fourth in the moto just
more of those."
Anderson's 4-2 score gave
him second overall on the day.
Anderson now has five straight
podium overall finishes.
"That first-turn pileup in the
first moto was insane," Ander-
son said. "I spent a lot of energy
coming back up but was able
to get fourth. Eli just got away
again that second moto. I'm
going to keep busting my butt
and try to get him, but he's rid-
ing good. Just excited to be up
here."
Marvin Musquin is getting back up
to speed following his knee injury.
