Sometimes, all you need is dogged persistence. Tomac has shown he has that. In the 250MX class, though, things couldn't be going much better for Rockstar Energy Husqvarna's Zach Osborne. A 1-1 might've been better, but Os- borne's 2-1 was good enough to give him his third overall win of the series and the fifth moto win so far, both combining to extend his points lead to a whop- ping 38 with six rounds (12 motos) left to run. He got things back on the rails at round five in Tennessee, where he went 2-1 to take the overall win and move to within four points of points leader Blake Baggett, but at RedBud he finally put togeth- er another 1-1 performance that everyone had been waiting for since Hangtown. The win, paired with some more bad luck going Baggett's way, Tomac is, once again, the points leader at the halfway point in the championship. VOL. 54 ISSUE 26 JULY 4, 2017 P57
