CN III VOICES W H A T Y O U A R E S A Y I N G "Giving the anonymous twitterite access to question the riders is inane." Twitter Ye Not Gold, Michael Scott! We do criticize riders for being bland and corporate, but I would love to have one of them respond to an inane tweet in exactly the words he would use in private, in a press conference. I suspect the words would be short, pithy and direct! Barry Glading I was at IMS watching a public appearance by Will Power when they started taking ques- tions from the crowd. A rather inebriated young lady asked him if he liked the band "Sis- ter Christian." Will, who was already struggling to retain his composure looked completely bewildered, irritated and indif- ferent at that point. To his credit he managed to stay on stage and finish the appearance. Giving the anonymous twit- terite access to question the riders is inane. Steve O'connor Lima Half Mile A whole lot of irony here. First Ryan Wells was the leading Harley rider on an XR over Robinson. Harley struggles to get past the semis, while two privateer XRs get in the main. How about Bill Werner being the driving force in the improve- ments in the Zannoti Kawasakis and beating Indian? Wasn't Werner "The Man" when Harley owned the track? Maybe Milwaukee should hire him back and get the XG in the winners circle. Lastly, Davis Fisher gets bounced off Team Harley onto a private Kawasaki and is doing much better now. James Edward Zeiser Ducati Superleggera At this price you'd think Ducati would offer a V4 powerplant— five years ago. Adam Wright Archives: Debbie Evans Great story. Debbie Evans does us all proud as a daughter of the red, white and blue. Brent Meeker Nicely done, Larry. What a courageous and groundbreak- ing woman! Russ Borski Letters to the editor can be sent to voices@cyclenews.com. Published letters do not necessarily reflect the position of Cycle News.
