I got the pass made and led the rest of the race to the finish line." Fourth place went to Toni Elias' protégé Francesco Perez, the young Spaniard in his first MotoAmerica race and on his first trip outside of Europe. Perez came out on top of a battle with Gavin Anthony and Brett Voor- hees and Trevor Standish. Perez was riding an M4 Roadracing World-backed wild card. Blackmon won his third race of the championship on Sunday. The win was close with Black- mon topping his teammate Smith by 0.169 of a second after nine laps. About nine seconds behind the lead duo came Spaniard Francesc Perez, finishing on the podium in his second-ever Mo- toAmerica race. Perez came out on top of a battle with Saturday's race winner Cory Ventura. CN Cory Ventura edged out Benjamin Smith for the race-one victory in the KTM Cup class.
